Stuff I've Been Up To (since my last post).....

• Mourning the Pope
• Yelling at Congress and the President for their involvement with Teri Shiavo (and feeling for her husband)
• Getting crossed off my mom's list of people who will have a say over her life.
• Buying clothes for my upcoming cruise
• Trying to workout and lose weight (which resulted over the 3 months I've been working on it, in me gaining 5 lbs) so I am wow-licious in a bathing suit on my cruise. (And knowing Kare will lose her last remaining straw at my made up word "wow-licious")
• Falling more and more in love with Patrick Dempsey (yeah, yeah, I know...it's just a character) every Sunday I watch "Grey's Anatomy".
• Growing out my hair (you'd be SURPRISED at how much effort this takes! ;) :) )
• Learning the Piano (I had my first lesson today. My fingers are NOT flexible. My poor teacher/band director/track coach had to keep telling me not to lift my fingers WAY up in the air after I press the key! :) )
• Sleeping (I LOVE SLEEPING!!!!)
• Not sleeping because I had to rescue my dad from our downstairs bathroom. It kidnapped him. Luckily, I was napping upstairs and could decifer the distress call of a trapped man BANGING ON THE WALL over and over because he tried to fix the loose doorknob and suceeded in making it stick, so you can't turn it and thus, get trapped inside.
• Working on saving my roommate Karen's students, faculty members and the other random people she may encounter at the precise moment she snaps from all her stress, by reminding her that I love her and really, that should be enough to de-stress anyone! :) :) ;) (If you didn't know I did that...READ YOUR BLOG COMMENTS YOU OVERSTRESSEDWOMAN!!!!)
• Praticing; My semi-colon use; so I may then send Karen over the edge; all by myself! :) :) (check out www.karchamb.blogspot.com)
• Reading journal articles as part of my ATC Journal Club
• Practicing my speeches to one of our LAX players on why the "mullet" is not the ultimate choice for his newest hairstyle. (His hairstylist wouldn't do it, so she did it the way she wanted it. He didn't like it and shaved it yesterday. Looks Fantastic! -In a big sister/mom sort of "hey you look great" way)
• Playing Spider Solitare (I know I know, it's a waste of time, but a fun one)
• Working 3 days of our Spring Break last week...shopping in A.C. and sleeping the other days.
• Laundry...hehehehehehe....aren't I funny?!?!?! I don't do laundry! Unfort., for me, no one else does my laundry either. Got a giant lump of clothes on the right side of my bed. I miss my old Chinese Laundry mother and daughter who used to do my laundry in Greensboro. I tried convinving my mom that as Mrs. Van Hee, people could MISTAKE her for Chinese and maybe she pretend to be them and do my laundry. :) (It didn't work....there's still a big lump of laundry next to my bed!)
• Enjoying the 70 degree sunshine! YEA!
