O.K., since I haven't written a blog in like forever (been SO busy lately), I thought I'd fill you guys in a little (skip the parts you already know.)...
Work is picking up a little. We've got 2 months til our big event in Tennessee. Things around here are tense and interesting (new computer system, etc.). I have a feeling we'll be working LONG hours the last 2 weeks to get everything done.
Jill and I went to Tamps in early March. It was a blast. I just got back from San Diego Monday. I went to visit Mike for an extended weekend. That too was nice. I could've done with 5 - 10 degrees higher, but 60-65 after being in the coldest winter I can remember (not saying much, I swear my memory is shot!), plus the all-day, everyday sunshine...who can complains, really? :) Mike is doing well. Plugging along, trying to win some games, and wondering what he's gonna do for next year, since I told him I'm not coming out there and some other "things" on his mind! ;) (You two know what that is! I'm just waiting for the actual "event"! ;) ;) )
Speaking of "events", I'm headed to Maryland this weekend for Amy's big "EVENT"! Sometimes I get so excited for you guys, you'd think these things were happening to me! (Hey Aim, imagine what I'll be like 9 months from now?!?!?!?) -Not me...Amy, just for those of you who thought I was "hiding" something!) Jill and I are headed to NYC Wednesday for the SSU at Yankee Stadium game. (Yes, it's that time again. hey, did any of you see the Phils game Wed.?!?!? 16-2!!!!)
Had a blind date last night. It went well. He is very "nice" (Or, for Mike, "pleasant"). Very vanilla, though. You know me....the more Rocky Road the better. Guess I haven't had enough "Rocky Road" to crave Vanilla! :) Guess there is something to be said for not being able to settle. Remind me of that when I'm 80 and still looking for "perfect" (in something besides a cat, temperature, or vacation)
