Table for One

I know a lot of times I write about being single. My life is not at all what I thought it would be like at 36. It is pretty much like I thought it would be like at 26. Ironically, that is exactly how old I always think I am. In celebration of being single, here's some perks to living the single life. In a not-at-all strange twist, it will show you that I am still living like a 26 year old. And maybe like a 26 year old boy.

1) Dinner can be Queso and chips.

2) Rinsing your favorite glass in hot water is just like "cleaning it", because no on else is gonna use it anyway.

3) 1/3 of all the shoes I own are by the front door.

4) None of my furniture matches, but I like it all and who else matters.

5) I can dance around the house listening to Pandora and singing Spandeau Ballet (Seriously. Has anyone else seen the Chevy commercial? I love it!!!!)

6) Laundry on the floor, Separated into piles. Clean clothes I didn't feel like hanging on the top of the empty hamper.

See? Single has it's perks AND I am pretty sure I've been taken over by a 26 year old former frat boy. :)
