Hi All!
This is my grandmother in her WAC Uniform. Isn't she beautiful?!?!? The women of the WAC (or WAAC as it was later called)took alot of flack for taking jobs that would keep soldiers out of battle and stateside. Every year for Veteran's Day my grandfather has to practically yank my grandmother up in church when they ask all Military Veterans to stand. It wasn't until recently she stood on her own and didn't argue.
